This is an Inspection Pit that can be made up as 2 individual pits or 1 large pit. The pit can be made as a Steam era pit showing brick walls for the sides of the pit, or by rotating the pieces, can be made as a modern pit with concrete sides.

Single Pit dimensions: 291mm long, 69mm wide 35mm high

Double pit dimensions: 580mm long, 69mm wide, 35mm high

Internal pit dimension: 35mm high, 25mm wide

External pit depth below baseboard 33mm

The pit depth is scale 5 feet which is comparable with modern pit depths. To achieve a Steam Pit depth which may be as small as 3ft, fill the interior of the pit with a length of Balsa wood to achieve your desired depth.

All items are made from MDF and PLY.
