This covered European steel wagon has been a common site on the British system for a number of years.

This model is based on the no. 87.xxx xxx series.

The model comes as a resin chassis unit. A one piece cast resin hood, two cast ends and an etch for the brake wheels and hood locking mechanism and data panel / doors.

The model requires Y25 bogies  and modern rectangular buffers from GJH.

 3'1" disc wheels. Couplings and brake pipes.

Decals in the GE livery are from Railtec.

As supplied the resin hood is of a heavilly creased appearance, but this can be filled to reduce crumpled and create a more mixed appearance rake. 

Alternatively, also available is a slot together frame to allow the modeller to create their own hood. By glueing plain slightly crumpled photocopy paper over the frame.
