Built by Powell  Duffryn these heavily rubbed bogie scrap wagons were commissioned for ASW and acquired the nick name " Black adders" with their striking yellow chevron rim they are a stunning looking wagon.

numbered 4400 to 4425


The kit comprises individual sides and ends and an inner floor / chassis deck.

comes with a stainless steel etch for the brake indicators and brake wheel, also comes with white metal sub structure protection beams.

build instructions from the MIOG website  by Alistair Tait.


you will need to source the following.

Gloucester bogies and brake arms from NMRS / GJH plant

buffers, air pipes, couplings of your choice. Sub frame detail available from numerous suppliers, air tanks, Westinghouse fittings etc.

3'1" disc wheels from peartree or similar


transfers are from Railtec.
