The original sheerness scrap box was constructed from a bolster wagon similar in design to BBA, when work for the bolster was dwindling, these wagons were converted into open boxs,  with the simple addition of a steel floor, heavy plate steel sides and diagonal bracing added to the original structure. ( this kit can be built as the original bolster used to carry steel rebar, or as the box wagon).

the model comprises a resin cast chassis, sides and ends, a pre marked laser cut floor onto which the modeller will fixs tyrene channels ( supplied) to create the suspended floor unit. ( you can see beneath the floor through the wagon).

the bolster uses the same floor unit turned upside down and the addition of styrene stanchions. ( supplied).

you will require a set of  Gloucester bogies,  3'1" disc wheels,

buffers and couplings,
